Astrocard Whitepaper

Explore, build, design and build your own world.

Planet Ownership

Each planet is owned by an Ethereum address. This address can typically only be a wallet (via ERC-1155 validation). However, in the case of the MLG galaxy, the address can also be a contract (via ERC-721).

A wallet must be linked to a player account to be able to play and manage the planets it owns. This is done via the Astrocard website.

Owning a planet does not guarantee access. If a player account violates the rules of the game, the player account will be banned. This means that the player account will no longer be able to access the planets it owns. The planet can be transferred to another wallet, however if the planet itself was the reason for the ban, the planet may be reset to its original state, or disabled entirely.

The MLG galaxy is the only galaxy that will be initially available in-game. The MLG galaxy is a special galaxy, as it is transferred from a previous project. The MLG galaxy is also the only galaxy that will be available via ERC-721. All other galaxies will be available via ERC-1155.
