The Universe

The universe is a vast, empty space.

Home to countless planets, stars, and galaxies, this mysterious yet beautiful place is the home of all life and existence. An eternal, infinite space where planets are shaped, politics are formed, and empires are built.

The Universe, founded some 13.7 billion years ago has yet to be fully explored. To the best of the Coalition's knowledge, the Universe is infinite, and will continue to expand forever. It is believed that humanity is the only intelligent life in the Universe, but this is yet to be proven - or disproven.

The Coalition aims to unite the Universe under one banner, and to explore and colonise every corner of it. The Coalition is made up of nearly every planet in every galaxy, and is led by the Galactic Council. However, the renegades, outlaws, and criminals are a never-ending problem for the Coalition. They cause discord, violence and calamity wherever they go.

These pirates trade in stolen goods, illegal substances, and weapons. They are the scourge of the universe, and won't hesitate to commit unspeakable acts of violence and destruction to get what they want.

The Coalition provides security, sanctity, and safety to all planets who chose to join. All planets are free to join, and free to leave at any time. As a democracy, the Coalition is run by the people, for the people. The current Supreme Leader is President Quentin Schmang, who has been in office since 2819 A.D.

He is the 12th President of the Coalition, and the 3rd to be elected democratically. He is a well-respected politician, and is known for his calm, collected, and diplomatic approach to politics. Under Schmang's leadership, the Coalition has ridden itself of prior corruption, and has become a beacon of strength and unity.
